about
Third single from our new album, Every Moment All At Once, coming out February 2nd, 2024.
lyrics
Another day where I have left off things for another time
Seems like it’s always in the future that my stars align
Presently my patience wavers on the flows of fate
Crashing up on the shoreline to find out what will stay
With each repeat more remains in place
A foundation for us to embrace
This hunger, never satisfied
Extend that lack of appetite
No rest when nothing’s meant to be
Reasons for going out to sea
And land to make a hallowed ground
Following all around
Another day where I have not caught signs of sprouting thoughts
Whenever will those windows open up without rain or fog
Clouding out my view of what is true and what’s right for me
Every way I take, it shines a light by which I see
A place where I am not alone
A house where I can call it home
A garden, oasis in trees
Cured of my fatalist disease
Knowing those forces from within
Wake up when the dreaming begins
Save myself for another day
A better life that’s on its way
I can’t be falling if I’m never up
Find a way to call it sure enough
That motivation to go ahead
Courage to say what needs to be said
Everything else just falls into place
Give me the breeze and sunlight on my face
Someone beside me but I can’t say who
Check the list of what they have to do
And I’m trying to get there too
I’m not just resting on a prayer
Nor counting on what I prepare
Forward is somewhere in between
The vision and the unforeseen
I won’t mistake my hope for a fact
Or failure for my final act
Train myself for another day
A better life that’s on its way
